Per agent, through Atlassian

Change Guards is sold and billed by Atlassian through the Marketplace, on their standard per-agent model. Current pricing, any free tier, and the academic and community rates are all shown on the listing — which is the only place they can be relied upon to be up to date.

What is not in the price, because it does not exist

• No plans or tiers. There is no Pro edition holding the audit chain hostage.
• No per-feature upsell. Freeze windows, the CAB workbench and evidence export are all simply there.
• No usage limits. No cap on changes, approvals, freeze windows or exports.
• No hosting cost. The app runs on Atlassian’s infrastructure inside your site. There is nothing to provision and nothing to scale.

What happens if you stop

Your change records are Jira issues, and they are yours — they stay exactly where they are. What the app holds on top of them is the governance metadata and the audit chain, and uninstalling removes that.

Before uninstalling, take a project-scoped evidence export for each project under governance. It is a portable, self-verifying record of everything the app held, and it can be read and re-verified without the app. This is a deliberate property of the design: the product is not somewhere your data gets locked in.
